FAQ PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION QUESTIONS
If you’re interested in me being your photographer, the first thing that will take place is a casual meeting to get to know each other a little bit and to talk about what I offer and how we can work together to fit your specific needs.
We’ll also discuss our creation session fees, art packages and answer any questions you may have! In the meantime, here are some common questions that I often get asked.
This is where you’ll find any questions you have prior to booking a consultation. We will go over a ton of information during our time together, but this should help a bit.
Where are you located?
I am located north of the river, in Parkville, MO. I am willing to travel within about an hour of Kansas City proper, though special circumstances can be discussed.
Do you have an option to purchase only digital images?
I understand that digital images are a great way to share your important memories with friends and family. With this in mind, you will receive a social media sized file of all purchased images to share with your loved ones. I do offer a complementary set of digital images with the purchase of $3000 in art products.
How long is there between the photo session and delivery of purchased artwork?
While all sessions are different and vary in length, there is a 4 to 6 week turnaround time from date of purchase to delivery.
Do you do events?
Sure! While they aren’t my focus, I will take on a wedding from time to time upon request.
Do you provide props for our session upon request?
All props are provided by me, unless otherwise discussed at our in-person consultation.
Why are there two consultations before the session?
The phone consultation is strictly to get to know each other and make sure we are a good fit. The in-person consultation is where we really plan out your session. I have found that when I plan out the session with my clients, things go more smoothly and there are fewer surprises. It’s valuable time that most photographers don’t invest in and that makes me different.
Do you take payments on purchases?
With a credit card on file, we can find a payment plan that fits your budget. 50% is required at the time of the ordering session and then automatic withdrawals will be scheduled upon request.
Is tax added to the price of the artwork?
No. All purchases are subject to sales tax.
Can we include things from home in our session?
Of course! I will do my best to incorporate any prop, pet, or otherwise into your session as I can.
Will our session be fun?
Yes! I mean obviously, it’s as fun as we make it, but I love and am passionate about creating a memorable experience for my clients and hope that everyone is willing to have a little fun!
